{"id":4326,"date":"2020-12-19T11:17:51","date_gmt":"2020-12-19T10:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bopdiggers.com\/?p=4326"},"modified":"2020-12-19T11:18:13","modified_gmt":"2020-12-19T10:18:13","slug":"caroline-polachek-the-corrs-breathless","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bopdiggers.com\/index.php\/2020\/12\/19\/caroline-polachek-the-corrs-breathless\/","title":{"rendered":"Caroline Polachek reprend &#8220;Breathless&#8221; des Corrs !"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Il y a 20 ans sortait &#8220;<em>Breathless<\/em>&#8220;, l&#8217;\u00e9norme tube du groupe irlandais familial <strong>The Corrs.<\/strong> S&#8217;ensuit alors une s\u00e9rie d&#8217;albums au succ\u00e8s plan\u00e9taire &#8220;<em>In Blue<\/em>&#8221; &#8220;<em>Borrowed Heaven<\/em>&#8221; &#8220;<em>Home<\/em>&#8221; avant une pause d&#8217;une d\u00e9cennie.<br><br>Impossible d&#8217;\u00e9chapper au succ\u00e8s de &#8220;<em>Breathless<\/em>&#8221; \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque, hit incontournable, en boucle aussi bien en radio qu&#8217;en TV, le titre a marqu\u00e9 toute une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, y compris <strong>Caroline<\/strong>.<br><br>Enti\u00e8rement re-instrumentalis\u00e9 par <strong>Danny L Harle<\/strong>, son producteur f\u00e9tiche, proche collaborateur du cercle PC Music, &#8220;<em>Breathless<\/em>&#8221; renait de ses cendres.<br>Dites adieu \u00e0 la rythmique punchy de l&#8217;original, ici c&#8217;est full \u00e9l\u00e9ctronique ! Ambiances planantes, la voix de <strong>Polachek<\/strong> s&#8217;envole sur les notes de piano plac\u00e9es avec parcimonie. Si la reprise se veut plus actuelle, des \u00e9lements comme le piano ou les plucks, sortent tout droit des vieux synth\u00e9s du d\u00e9but du si\u00e8cle, clin d&#8217;oeil \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque de l&#8217;original.<br><br>Jou\u00e9 sur la derni\u00e8re tourn\u00e9e de <strong>Polachek<\/strong>, le titre a fuit\u00e9 il y a environ un an, heureusement, celui-ci est enfin officialis\u00e9 !<br><br><strong>Caroline<\/strong> en profite \u00e9galement pour sortir &#8220;<em>Standing At The Gate : Remix Collection<\/em>&#8220;, une \u00e9dition vinyle limit\u00e9e \u00e0 3000 exemplaires. La galette contient le petit bijou &#8220;<em>The Gate<\/em>&#8220;, le sublime remix d<strong>&#8216;Oklou<\/strong> de &#8220;<em>The Door<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Breathless<\/em>&#8221; et d&#8217;autres !
